With this economy I have created tips to help others find a cheaper way of spending money during holidays,  I have spend $0 last yr and I will spend $0 this yrs, instead am paying  my bills than spending on holiday gifts. But I will give them  my love, I guess no family member want to see their family members in debt; I think your family members and friends will understand if they really love you. In 2001, I just had a baby, I was not able to shop for Christmas for that Dec, 2000, and I was 5 months pregnant and did not want to go stay in line for hours trying to buy shop for holidays. Most people do not think about the time and money spent at a store trying to buy gifts and end up tired and stressed out.  During holidays most people are stressed out, when they find out that they spent more money, than expected. If you go to the store just after the holiday you will find so many people, returning their gifts or take back what ever they bought. That time wasted; you could be doing something else, if you needed to rest, and this is the best time to take a rest, a good time to take a break from everything and give time to yourself.

Save money by checking carefully before you buy anything, most moms now they work at home to save gas and to save day care fees. I was talking to a mom who told me that the check was going to the day care and gas. What the purpose of working if all the money goes to child care and gas. Working at home has been the best was of saving money. If your spouse works and mom works at home and takes care of the kids the money she makes can be use to have a family fun once a week or more.
